WHAT IS COLONIC IRRIGATION?

A gentle, clinically administered detox treatment

Colonic irrigation, also known as colonic hydrotherapy or colon cleansing, uses warm filtered water to gently flush accumulated waste from the large intestine.

The procedure lasts 30–45 minutes and is carried out entirely by RGN registered nurses.

At Central Healthcare we use a gravity-fed system rather than electric pumps, providing a more controlled and comfortable experience. Your nurse will perform a gentle abdominal massage throughout to help release tension and improve the removal of waste.

All equipment is single-use and disposed of after every client.

Before treatment your RGN nurse will take a full medical history, discuss your diet, lifestyle and goals, and confirm suitability. A personalised treatment plan is agreed at this stage — from a single session to a course over weeks or months.

The Treatment (60 - 75 mins)

You lie comfortably on your side in a private room. A small lubricated tube is gently inserted most clients feel nothing. Warm filtered water is introduced in a series of gentle flushes using our gravity-fed system. Your nurse performs a colon massage throughout to aid waste removal.

Recovery & probiotics

After your session you'll receive a complimentary probiotic supplement to restore healthy gut bacteria. You're welcome to relax with herbal tea before leaving. Most clients feel lighter and more energetic immediately and can return to normal activities straight away.

Ongoing support

Each subsequent visit is individually assessed. Your nurse will review your progress and provide dietary advice, supplement recommendations and lifestyle guidance tailored to your health goals.
